Reading daily loss and max loss
Daily loss renews every UTC hour from available balance. Maximum loss is the floor under the whole evaluation.
Daily loss is today's room
The daily loss limit is how far the account can fall from the current reference. At every UTC hour, a flat account sets that reference to available balance. If a position is open, the last available balance stays the reference. A new hour restores the daily room from that reference. It does not restore a maximum-loss breach.
Maximum loss is the floor
Maximum loss is measured from the evaluation's high-water or starting balance, using the rule stored on the program. If equity crosses that floor, the account is breached and new orders stop.
Why both numbers matter
A day can stay inside the daily loss limit and still push the account through maximum loss. Check both figures before adding size. The order ticket will not send the trade to an external venue either way.
